The Problem Of Democratic Sovereignty
Posted on

This post appeared first on XYZ.

This is the second in a series looking at sovereignty and political legitimacy in Western countries today. The first piece explored the problem of democratic legitimacy under socialism.

The mood among the establishment media has shifted noticeably since the French election. Gone is the post-Trump melancholia. Lovers of the globalist status quo seem to have convinced themselves that Brexit and Trump were just anomalies, and that the new world disorder of open borders, cultural Marxism against whites and unfettered corporate neoliberalism is back on track.

They’re wrong. Macron is a puppet of the globalists, sure, yet the establishment parties which have ruled France for decades were roundly rejected.… Read the rest

No Representation Without Taxation

There is an anecdote in Augustine’s great work ‘City of God’ of a conversation between Alexander the Great and a famous pirate named Diomedes. It was written 700 years after the events were supposed to have taken place, by a man living in North Africa under the Roman Empire just before the lights of civilisation went out permanently there.

In the exchange, Alexander asks Diomedes why he plagues the seas. The pirate contemptuously responds, ‘The same reason as you do the world, but while I operate with one boat, I am called a robber; but since you have a great fleet, you are called emperor.’

This exchange goes to the heart of what makes governments legitimate.… Read the rest

American Totalitarianism Wears A Black Mask

This piece appeared first on The Daily Caller.

It is no surprise that Berkeley, California has become the scene of another significant battle in the culture war which has erupted across America in recent months. Berkeley is a bastion of the American neo-Marxist left and is at the heart of their 60’s mythology. Last weekend though, for the first time in living memory, the totalitarian American left was defeated on their home turf.

The motley assortment of anti-leftists who came to Berkeley to attend a free speech event organized by independent journalist Lauren Southern were able to push Antifa back despite the actions of the Berkeley Police Department.… Read the rest

Totalitarian Censorship On Social Media

This piece appeared first on XYZ.

According to Facebook, I’m a purveyor of nudity on social media. Thankfully my wife hasn’t found out. Wouldn’t make for a great Easter long weekend.

The post in question was an article I shared from altright.com dealing with the mainstream media’s silence about Ebba Akerlund, an 11-year-old victim of the recent Stockholm Islamic attack (the one with the truck in the market, if you can’t keep up). The image in question is this one.

Ebba Akerlund, 11-year-old victim of Islamic aggression

When I look at that image, I’m not offended by ‘nudity’. Given that public censorship of nudity is usually related to sexualisation, I find such an accusation by Facebook to be deeply, deeply revolting.… Read the rest

Trump’s Strike On Syria And The English Empire

This piece appeared first on XYZ.

America’s wars always start with a lie. The United States entered World War I in response to the sinking of the civilian ship The Lusitania, however it was later discovered that the ship was being used to supply ordinance to support the Allied war effort against Germany. There is strong evidence that the attack on Pearl Harbour was known in advance by the US military establishment, who let it happen so as to bring the US into the war effort. The Gulf of Tonkin incident which was used to widen US involvement in Vietnam was a sham; LBJ later admitted the Navy might as have been ‘shooting at whales’.… Read the rest

All Deluded On The Western Front
Posted on

This piece first appeared on The Daily Caller.

The blast from the 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles which President Trump ordered to strike the al-Shayrat airfield in Syria on Thursday has since reverberated around the world. Many Americans are still waiting for the smoke to clear, to make sense of exactly what happened and why.

President Trump and his Secretary of State Rex Tillerson are unanimous in their conviction that the regime of Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons on his own people, thus justifying the attack. Everyday Americans are rightly skeptical when it comes to weapons of mass destruction being used to justify a possible war.… Read the rest

Fake Politics On The Democrat Identity Plantation
Posted on

This piece first appeared on The Daily Caller.

Fakery has been everywhere in the news in 2017. From the increasingly desperate and still unproven accusations by the establishment media that President Trump is a Manchurian candidate, to the alarming and verifiable evidence that senior Democrats have close financial links to foreign powers, everyday Americans are unsure what is real and what is not at the moment. Central to this surreal political atmosphere is the loss of faith by the American people in the establishment media, or what many are now calling the real ‘fake news’.

Just as everyday Americans are now seeing through the fake news that is put forth by the media wing of the Democrat establishment, we are also now aware of the fakery at the heart of the Democratic Party itself.… Read the rest

The PM’s Proposition To Murder Australia
Posted on

This piece first appeared on XYZ.

Apparently Australia has a ‘multicultural statement’ put forth via proclamation by the Prime Minister. Did you know? I didn’t. Is this something all countries have signed up for? I doubt it. Do Afghanistan or Belarus or Kazakhstan or Zimbabwe have such a thing? If no, why not? Why are we always so special, Prime Minister? Why are they a distinct people with a distinct biological, cultural and ethnic identity and we are not?

What it seems to really mean is that, every once in a while, the top puppet parliamentarian gets to play with the wording of what defines your, and my, national identity.… Read the rest
